I was in full mushroom frenzy. Those of you who have seen me hunting know what that means. Porcini, hawkwings, chanterelles, milk caps and many assorted other fungi.

Have you ever walked down a trail you know, searching for mushrooms you had missed? What was different? Your perspective? So was mine--I could not recognize ground I covered from a different direction. I was lost.
