About This Event

Please join us on October 21st for our first speaker and gathering of the season!


FFSC members gather together on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May to catch up, discuss club business, and learn from interesting speakers. Plus, you can bring any fungi you have been lucky enough to find for identification!


This month, our speaker is Robin Alexander, who will talk about creating oils, sauces, stocks and condiments with mushrooms.

About the Speaker

Robin Alexander was born and raised in San Francisco. He is a musician, a geologist and artisan bread baker who enjoys freedive-spearfishing, above-water fishing, hunting and foraging.


After starting at ‘Chez Panisse’ he became ‘Master-baker/Owner" at Metropolis Baking Co.
